The mindset is the challenge. How do you go from being apathetic, dependent, and passive to being the ones that are proactive, the ones that would like to shape their own destiny? Farmers are the key actors. To change the mindset, we need to bring them to see areas where there is good practice. We need to bring farmers together for discussion, to address issues, challenges and solutions and take responsibility of their action.
