Today Thailand exports pineapple juice to most of the world and there are signs of problems in terms of quality. If there is no collaboration between farmers and manufacturers to solve or ameliorate such problems, then the image of Thai fruit juice will suffer greatly.
This eight-minute video takes you to pineapple plantation and fruit processing factory in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand to hear from farmers, factory owner, and fruit juice quality assurance auditor from the Sure Global Fair (SGF) how they work together to solve the problems. SGF is the self-control association for fruit juice safety and quality assurance based in Germany.
